1st Beach Clean Up for 2011

Start the year right.

And they did. The team of Shirley's Coffee Shop again trooped to Sugar Dock/ Aquarius Beach Tower last January 17, 2011.

This proves their commitment in doing their part to keep the island and its coastline pristine.

A total of 21 people composed of Shirley's team members and their relatives participated in the first 2011 clean up and gathered approximately 85 lbs of trash.

Every christening is a happy event. It welcomes another child of God into the Christian family and a good way to celebrate a happy event is to have the loving embrace of your family, and good food on the table. It warms the heart, and the tummy.

Jeree Denise Maliwanag was embraced in God's family last January 8, 2011 at the Kristo Rai Church with Fr. Celso at the helm.

A First Birthday for Jener Franz Pineda

Last December 28, a dear little boy celebrated his first birthday at Shirley's Coffee Shop in Susupe.

With everyone's favorite dinosaur "Barney" as theme, more than a hundred guests attended the affair, a true testament to the love for the Pineda family.

Jener Franz Pineda is no stranger to Shirley's. His dad, Jhey is part of the Shirley's team.

The event was also held in celebration of his Grandma Beth's birthday.
